Hyangsu Lake Trail
and Daecheongho Lake Hyangsu Lake Trail Hyangsu Lake Trail is an eco-cultural exploration route that stretches from Subuk-ri in Okcheon-eup to Janggye-ri in Annam-myeon, following the magnificent scenery of Daecheongho Lake. This 5.6-km-long trail, offering a delightful nature experience, is attracting attention. As this trail has been untouched by human feet for an extended period, nature is flourishing. At the end of the path lies Okcheon Seonsa Park. If you climb up the hill across from there, you will see a signpost and a stretch of land where you can step on the soil. This place is called Nalmangmadang. Continuing along the path for about 1 km, there is a long wooden bridge and a scenic viewpoint overlooking the area. It is the Moobin Observatory, where you can see Daecheongho Lake up close. When you come out of the observation deck, you can walk along the wooden bridge placed on the edge of the lake for about 2.3 km. The Odae Front Yard, Squirrel Resting Area, Pine Fragrance Resting Area, and other spots that have been created along the way are ideal places to take photos with the lake as a backdrop. Once you cross the highest bridge on the Hyangsu Lake Trail, called the Udeumji Deck, you will arrive at Hwangsaeteo. The trail continues beyond that, connecting to Yongdaengi and Jumak Village, but unfortunately, due to maintenance work, we have to turn back for the time being.
