Okcheon Scenic Spot 1
Dunjubong Observatory
before ascending to the summit of Dunjubong Peak (384 m) The landscape of the Korean Peninsula visible from the observatory (275 m) before reaching the summit of Dunjubong Peak (384 m) is a breathtaking view created by the curving Geumgang River branches. The length of this terrain is 1.45 km, a miniature of the actual Korean Peninsula at 1/980 scale, and although the east and west have been reversed, it looks exactly like the Korean Peninsula when reflected in a mirror. The path up Dunjubong Peak is impressive with a pine forest filled with the scent of pine trees.
